How to use Xmanager and Set Display or export DISPLAY - in easy steps.
Step 1: Download Xmanager.
Step 2: Use this link https://www.netsarang.com/download/down_xmg5.html
Step 3: Register it using Key ( hint : use google and search Xmanager5 produck key ).
Step 4: Open Xmanager - passive from Start >> All Programs
Step 5: You will see a notification on Taskbar Xmanager5.is active or not. ( Xmanager5 [:0.0] or [:0.1] )
also confirm your windows machine is reachable to linux machine [open cmd and type ping {ip of remote linux PC}].
Step 6: Open your Putty or kitty on Windows Machine.
Step 7: Type Hostname or IP address (Of Remote Linux Machine) >> Open
Step 8: Put login and password.
Step 9: command >>
export DISPLAY={Your Windows Machine IP}:0.0
eg:
export DISPLAY=192.168.0.11:0.0
Step 10: command >>
echo $DISPLAY
Step 11: command >>
xterm ( a pop-up will take just accept it and close it.)
OR
firefox ( a pop-up will take just accept it and close it it means its working.)
Step 12: Now you proceed for your Work.
