IBM WAS ( WebSphere® Application Server ) on IBM Bluemix Cloud




Step 1: Go to Below Link.

https://console.bluemix.net

Step 2: Click here to Log in through IBM id.

Step 4: You will visit to new webpage of Bluemix.

Step 5: Click on Create app.

Step 7: click on Search bar  and Put WebSphere Application .

Step 8: Select the WebSphere Application Server.

Step 9 : Provide Service Name [WebSphere Application Server-3k  ] in my case.
         also select Environment  of cloud [Sydney] - in my case.

Step 10 :  Check the Pricing Details  of Software +  hardware  levels :

           WAS Liberty Core Plan    Red Hat Linux Guest.    ₹12.68 INR/Hour

           WAS Base Plan                 Red Hat Linux Guest.    ₹18.11 INR/Hour

           WAS ND Plan                   Red Hat Linux Guest.    ₹42.26 IN/Hour

Step 11 : I have selected [ WAS Base Plan ]  in my case. and click on Create .

Step 12 : Review of Selected WAS Plan and Hardware details and click on Provision

Step 13 : Review creation , lease of time ....

Step 14 : For Connecting purpose , We have to install Open VPN software.
       
    Download Windows Open VPN and VPN Configuration files,

Install  openvpn-install-2.3.11-I001-x86_64  as a Administartor.

Extract  openvpnConfig.zip 






Step 15 : Copy these three files and save to c:\Program Files\OpenVPN\config   folder.

Step 16 : Start OPEN VPN as a administrator and connect from Task-Bar.

Step 17 :  Click on Open Admin Console.

Step 18 : You will see a new certificate permission tab of  WAS Admin Console.

 Click on Continue Anyway.

Step 19: For Admin Username and Password.

Step 20 : You can check  status of VM , start and stop VM  .

Step 21 : Click on Show Password , to get access from putty Using HOST IP .

Step 22 : Open Putty or Kitty , Provide  HOST IP [168.1.24.205] in my case >> Yes.

Step 23 : Login as a root and password.
Review message ,  IBM WebSphere Application Server on Cloud.  Authorized ueses only.

Step 24 : Review the VM Cloud details from  putty also.
